My journalism career began many years ago at a local college. I originally wanted to become a sports writer, however, with a lack of sports at the college, I ended up covering an array of board meetings, college planning meetings and other news stories around campus that I really did not have a big interest in. Little did I realize that after a semester, I was all about the politics at the college from the school board, to the college president to the student body.

I’d like to think during my time their over three years that we went from a fluff paper to an actual college newspaper winning awards. My column “Inner Demons” even won a first place in column writing in Northern California.

Today, I currently work sales/marketing for a local company here in the Bay Area after a short professional career as a journalist. I could not stand the newsroom environment and hidden liberal agenda. I was always told by my editor I didn’t know what facts to leave in or out—which basically slanted a story in liberal favor. I was not going to sacrifice facts to sell papers.

This site will hopefully bring you news as well as give me a piece of mind to express my concern of where this country is headed.
